Dr. Ajmal Khan :: Message from Principal
This newly started graduate program will provide a design space for mixing and matching of diverse disciplines and research areas thus creating disruptive technologies at the innovative edge of psychology, information technology, graphic design, story telling and drama.
- It will provide a practical forum to look beyond the obvious, to ask questions not yet asked and to provide innovative solutions that could dramatically improve the way people learn- not only for those who go to a school but also those who cannot attend a conventional school.
- Educational innovation, driven by a need for continuing education in the labor force, is transforming the global industrial landscape. Moreover, this need has also put a lot of stress on producing dynamic and diverse educational entrepreneurs as well as researchers who can steer the next revolution in education.
- We are the first program in Pakistan that will address the deficiency of such individuals and aim to create graduates with the ability to Learn, Think, Apply, Innovative and Educate.

The course, “Design of games for learning” provides students with a theoretical and conceptual understanding of the field of learning game design, along with practical exposure to the process of creating a game with primary focus is on the learning outcomes.
Psychology
Psychology of Learning and Cognition
This course help students to develop an understanding of various cognitive processes like memory, problem solving and reasoning. To use this understanding of cognitive processes as a set of rules and try to see how such rules help understand human behavior and enable designing efficient tools for human use.

Mr. Jaudat Mamoon
EntrepreneurshipMr. Jaudat Mamoon is an Assistant Professor at NUST SEECS, and the core member of the team that launched the program in 2014. He possesses a diverse set of skills and interests with two master degrees in Technology Management & Entrepreneurship and Communications Engineering from EPFL Lausanne, Switzerland and TUM Munich, Germany respectively.
Dr. Junaid Younas
Virtual Augmented-RealityDr. Junaid Younas completed his Doctorate in Engineering from the Technical University of Kaiserslautern (RPTU Kaiserslautern), Germany. His Ph.D. research is focused on leveraging cutting-edge technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Virtual Augmented-Reality (VAR) to facilitate the learning process in formal education.
Dr. Arham Muslim (HoD MS ITL)
Learning AnalyticsDr. Arham Muslim has a PhD in computer science from RWTH Aachen University, Germany focusing on learning analytics in distributed and open learning environments. His main research areas encompass learning technologies and data science with the focus on human-centred learning analytics, information visualization, visual analytics, and big data.
